The film

One Man and His Shoes explores the story of Michael Jordan and the phenomenon of his signature sneaker, the Nike Air Jordan.

Told through rare interviews with the unsung men and women who were there and responsible for helping create the billion dollar brand the world knows today, the film will intricately detail precisely how Jordan's sneaker line transcended cultural and social boundaries to become a global phenomenon and the world’s most popular sneaker, making the man in question one of the wealthiest sports personalities on the globe.

Using archive and animation, the film will explore the societal and political backdrop in which Jordan's stratospheric rise took place - 1980s America.
